ISO 9001

AS9100 is an international recognize Quality management for aerospace and defense industry standard – focusing on the quality and safety of the management processes of manufacturers, parts suppliers, and developers of systems and products to the aviation and defense industry.

The standard is supporting by IAQG that among its members are Boeing, LM, airbus etc.

AS 9001

The most popular standard in the world (more than 1 million certificates), ISO 9001:2008 is focused on continual improvement of processes to increase market share, reduce costs, and handle risks effectively. PowerCom has adopted ISO 9001:2008 as the Quality Management Systems framework for monitoring and improving performance.

Quality assurance / quality control

The quality assurance department carries out quality inspections at every stage of the manufacturing process, from incoming inspections of raw materials, through in-process inspections and up to final inspections.

Hamavlet’s quality assurance team is experienced at implementing quality assurance procedures and carrying out quality inspections on a broad spectrum of applications over a range of industries, including: Military and defense, aviation and aerospace, medical devices, electronics and micro-electronics, etc.

Hamavlet’s quality assurance team comprises:

  • Quality assurance manager Mechanical and quality engineer
  • Chief inspector: Mechanical engineer
  • Two in-process inspectors: Qualified technicians.

Testing and measurement equipment

The QA team uses advanced measurement systems and is experienced in the execution of modern and conventional inspections. The measuring equipment includes:

  • Video measurement system – enables accurate measurement (≥ 5μm) of a range of parts, sizes and shapes at a high resolution. Hamavlet uses this advanced system for measuring precision and small parts. A COT can be produced directly from the measurement system, detailing the actual measurements taken.
  • Optical profile projector – suitable for precision measurement (≥ 10μm) of parts, ranging from 150-200 mm.
  • Mechanical measuring tools – micrometers, digital height gauges, various shapes and sizes of gauges, rulers and calibers.

Documentation

The quality assurance department is experienced in working with customers from various industries, such as: Defense, aviation and aerospace, electronics, medical devices, electronic packaging and communications and consumer products. The QA department handles all aspects of quality, including the handling and producing of certificates based on international standards and customer requirements.

  • COA (Certificate of Analysis) – authorization that the raw material, the coating, the heat treatment, etc., received from an external supplier, complies with the customer requirements or the standard.
  • COC (Certificate of Compliance) – authorization of the inspection of the item, and compliance with the order specifications.
  • COT (Certificate of Testing) – details of the actual measurements taken during the course of the inspection.
